Creative minds behind ‘Hellbound’

The popular webtoon of the same name, directed by Yeon Sang-ho and written and illustrated by Choi Gyu-seok, served as the inspiration for the series "Hellbound," which has a distinct vision thanks to the creative team behind it. Yeon revealed their audacious plan for the narrative in a 2021 interview with Variety, stating, "[Choi and I] were set on creating a world that was comparable to hell, and created by people who are unable to tolerate uncertainty." Our goal was to depict how society would appear when beliefs are at odds with one another.
