Varun Dhawan is joining the Sunny Deol film Border 2, which is slated to release in November

Ayushmann Khurrana had once been scheduled to appear in the movie but had since left. Ayushmann has reportedly been in discussions with the creators of Border 2 for quite some time. He reportedly received an opportunity to star in the film as an army jawan. He later withdrew from the project, though, as he was unsure about joining an ensemble that Sunny Deol was leading.

Right now, one of the busiest actors is Varun Dhawan. In the midst of the numerous movies he has coming out, word is getting out that the actor will be starring in the eagerly awaited follow-up to the 1997 hit picture Border. In the movie called "Border 2," Varun will team up with Sunny Deol, who was a key player in the first one. According to Pinkvilla, filming for the movie is expected to start in November 2024.

Varun Dhawan has signed on for Border 2, and the actor will star in the movie alongside Sunny Deol, according to a report from Pinkvilla. An insider stated, "Border 2 is the biggest film in the works for Indian cinema, and the team is making it even bigger with the casting by getting Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan to play major roles in the tale."

The insider continued, "The Border franchise has a special place in the hearts of the audience, and Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan's casting in the sequel is sure to elevate the appeal even further." The opening of Border 2 is scheduled for November 2024. Varun is probably going to join the shoot following the release of Baby John in December.

Sunny Deol already revealed the release date for Border 2, the biggest war movie in India. He posted the footage on his social media accounts. It quickly became viral, and fans could be seen responding to it. It should be noted that Border was published on June 13, 1997. It has been 27 years today. Sunny Deol posted a video on his Instagram page, in which he can be heard stating, "27 saal pehle ek fauji ne vada kiya tha ki vo vapas aayega." Hindustan ki mitti ko apna salaam kehne, ussi vaade ko poora karne, aa raha hai. "Ek fauji apne 27 saal purane waade ko pura karne, aa raha hai phirse," the caption said. Border 2 is the largest war film in India.
