The Power is an upcoming television series. It is a nine-episode series based on the novel of the same name. The first episode of the series could be seen on Amazon Prime Video on March 31, 2023. It is a science fiction drama developed by Raelle Tucker, Naomi Alderman, and Sarah Quintrell.
Plot
The story moves around Roxy who is an illegitimate daughter of Bernie Monke was attacked by a group. Her mother was killed in an attack. Tunde is an aspiring video journalist who starts covering women who began developing powers. Margot is the mayor of Seattle who noticed that her daughter Jos also getting powers. Allie was raped by her foster father and kills him with her powers. Later on, becomes a religious leader and started using her powers to heal. Margot starts a training camp so that the young women can use their powers. Roxy becomes London’s crime boss. Tatiana attempts to take over the country and is also responsible for the mass killing of men. Later on, Allie was able to kill Tatiana.

Toni Collette
Toni Collette joined the cast with the character Margot Cleary-Lopez who was the mayor of Seattle and mother of three kids. Collette is an incredible Australian actress who has won several awards including a Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe as well Academy and Tony Award nominations. She is known for her work in the films like Muriel's Wedding, The Sixth Sense, Emma, and Nightmare Alley as well as Broadway shows like The Wild Party.
Auli'i Cravalho
Auli’l Cravalho is playing Toni’s character’s daughter Jos Cleary-Lopez in the series. Auli’l is a well-known American actress who starred in the NBC drama series “Rise’ and the Netflix drama film “All Together Now.” The rising star Auli’i is expected to develop a new interest in the series.
John Leguizamo
John Leguizamo is portraying Rob, Margot’s husband. Josh is recognized for his character Will Gardner in the political drama “The Good Wife.” The role won him two Primetime Emmy nomination and is now again playing a politician in the series.
