With the new rumors that Ranbir Kapoor has been cast as the villain in the new Dhoom Movie, the excitement surrounding the eagerly anticipated film Dhoom 4 has intensified once more. According to a recent source, Vijay Krishna Acharya, who helmed Dhoom 3 and penned all three of the Dhoom franchise's installments, has been confirmed to direct the Dhoom revival.

As to an exclusive report, filmmaker Aditya Chopra has locked Vijay Krishna Acharya aka Victor as the writer and director of Dhoom 4.

According to a close source familiar with the process, the script for Dhoom 4 was written by Vijay Krishna Acharya. It was only fitting that he be assigned the task because he wrote the first three Dhoom movies. In addition, he will direct the movie."

Well, Victor wrote and directed Dhoom 3, which went on to become the highest-grossing film of all time, starring Aamir Khan as the adversary and Katrina Kaif in a pivotal role. According to recent speculations, the original police officers played by Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra would be replaced with actors from the current age. Actors selected for the police roles are currently unknown, though. There were earlier rumors that the fourth installment's antagonist will be none other than Tamil superstar Suriya. Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan were even making waves on social media as potential Aamir Khan successors. But according to reports, the creators locked RK to continue the Dhoom series' heritage. Aditya has chosen to revive and update the Dhoom franchise because he has a strong emotional attachment to it. Aditya and Victor reportedly wrote a script with the intention of producing a ground-breaking motion picture experience. After hearing the initial script, the Ramayana actor indicated his desire in coming onboard. Notably, Aamir Khan appeared in the third installment of the heist saga, while Hrithik Roshan took over as the adversary in the second. John Abraham portrayed the antagonist in the first installment.
