Nowadays, Pakhi’s relationship with
Anupamaa is constraint. Anupamaa being a matured person and a successful businesswoman always want her children to walk on the path which makes them shine bright and provides them opportunity to grow. But Pakhi on the other hand, thinking that her mother is getting strict with her and is giving more attention of Dimpy.
At the first instance, Pakhi was asking for money to start her own business, to which Anupamaa replied that she wanted to know that on which project she is investing the money. Though Anupamaa’s intention was just to guide her daughter so that she should not carry the burden of losses but Pakhi took it otherwise and decide to go against her mother.
In another instance, Pakhi saw Dimpy with Titu and went back to Kapadia Mansion. She started shouting in the house that Dimpy is having an affair with Titu. Anupamaa asked her to be quite which made Pakhi feel that Anupamaa just love Dimpy and giving no more attention to her words.
Pakhi went to a gynecologist, who informs her that she can be a mother with the help of IVF procedure. When Pakhi arrives home, she saw Anupamaa and hug her with joy and shared the news with her. Anupamaa was overjoyed to hear this news, but Pakhi at this time says that she don’t want to share her feelings as she doesn’t deserve it. Pakhi said that she was happy and can’t control her emotions that’s why she hugged her, it was not her intention to share anything good with her which makes Anupamaa devastated.
When Pakhi was sitting in her room and was thinking of her baby, she saw Choti Anu passing by. She calls her and said to her that Anupamaa will not love you anymore. She poisons Choti’s ear that Anupamaa will only love Pakhi’s baby and Dimpy’s baby and will send her back to the Orphanage. Though Choti replies that her mother will not do any such thing, but it affected child’s mind.
Choti fight with her school friend and was not ready to apologize. When Anupamaa tells her to say "sorry" she said that she never gets angry with Pakhi who often arguments with her but always scold her as she is an adopted child.
In another scene, Malti Devi and shown talking with Choti Anu and plotting against Anupamaa. Malti Devi instructed her not to say sorry and see how much her parents care for her.
On the other hand, there was an argument between Adhik and Pakhi to the matter what she told to Choti Anu. Adhik also says that she will not be a good mother ever in future as she doesn’t care for other children. He said that she don’t deserve to be a mother. Sources also says that soon Pakhi will move to Shah house, leaving Kapadia Mansion due to adverse circumstances in her life.
As a result of regular poisoning, innocent Choti Anu started hating Anupamaa. After the accident, when Anupamaa saved Choti at the end there was hot argument between Anupamaa and Anuj as a result Anupamaa left Kapadia Mansion
