Hailey Bieber shares a throwback PIC from the hospital as she marks one year of her heart surgery! For the people who are unaware of this, the supermodel was diagnosed with
Patent foramen ovale or PFO last year after she experienced some stroke-like symptoms. It is a condition where there is a hole in the heart. She was hospitalized on March 10, 2022, due to a transient ischemic attack, which is often called a mini-stroke. The bombshell underwent surgery to close this hole in 2022.
In an April 28, 2022 post with the caption 'Sharing My Story', the model opened up about her journey.
She took to her Instagram stories and shared a throwback picture from her time in the hospital last year. It marked the one-year anniversary of her medical procedure.
In the picture, Mrs. Bieber can be seen lying on a hospital bed, wearing a hospital gown. In the photo, her hand had an IV drip inserted in it. She smiled at the camera as it clicked the picture. Along with the photo, she also wrote a caption, expressing gratitude to have been treated for it by her doctors.

The caption on her story read, "This time last year I had a procedure done to close a hole I had in my heart known as a PFO (Patent Foramen Ovale) Following having a transient stroke. So grateful to have found this and have it closed, and so grateful for my amazing doctors. A year later I'm feeling strong and healthy." She also added a link for additional information on PFO and its procedures.
In another story, the model wrote, "Can't believe it's been 1 year since I suffered a mini-stroke that led to my PFO diagnosis". She added, "Given that it's the 1-year mark from such a life-changing event, I wanted to share all the information I've learned about PFO and share resources to donate."
