Once again, The Delhi Public School, Mathura Road received an email threating to blast the school on May 12, 11 am. Similar e-mail was sent to the school in April month, couple of week before this incident. According to the Delhi police investigation, the email was sent from a student’s ID, however, the student denied sending any mail to school.

On Wednesday Morning, a prestigious school in Delhi received an e-mail that warned the school authorities about a bomb planted in the school. They immediately telephoned Delhi police to conduct a search operation on the premises. The SWAT team arrived at the school premises along with bomb disposal and dog squad. The news spread like a fire, which raised tension among parents whose wards were studying in the school. In a short while, many parents gathered at the gate of the school to pick up their children back from school.

However, later on after a deep investigation, no suspicious object was found in the premises and Delhi police declared that the email was a hoax. Though the situation is under control it created a panic situation.

Parents always want their children to be safe inside the school premises, and the school authorities must take security measures seriously to avoid any incident.
