Anupamaa Actor Rituraj Singh Passes Away Aged 59

Rituraj Singh who joined acting industry in 1992 and appeared in the films like Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Satyaneva Jayate 2 and Yaariyan 2 passed away on Monday due to cardiac arrest.
Rituraj joined the cast of Anupamaa in 2023 playing Yashpal, owner of the restaurant Spice Chutney in which the main lead
Anupamaa works. With his joining the show, there were estimates that he would be revealed as Malti Devi estranged husband and biological father of
Anuj Kapadia. But the track of the show moved on other direction where Yashdeep (played by
Vaquar Shaikh ) fell for Anupamaa. Anuj meet Anupamaa and tries to reconcile her, but her daughter Aadya Kapadia don’t want her in the life. Many of the fans are still waiting for Yashpal return but now after the death of the actor it seems to be impossible.
Before joining Anupamaa, Rituraj worked in other popular soap opera like Diya Aur Baati Hum, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, and Never Kiss Your Best Friend. His appearance in the web series
Indian Police Force is considered as his final appearance. Many well known people paid tribute to the late actor via social media.
