Parasite Actor Lee Sun-kyun Found Dead inside his car

On Wednesday, 27, December 2023 at around 10:30 am, actor Lee Sun-kyun found dead in his car in central Seoul. The police authorities have also found a charcoal briquette on the passenger seat. His wife found a paper with a memo akin to a suicide note in the home.

Earlier in October 2023, he was accused of suspected drug use. The actor also voluntarily left work in upcoming thriller “No Way Out” as a result of the case. He was charged for the suspicion of using marijuana and psychoactive drugs on October 24 and was summoned for questioning on the 28th by Incheon Metropolitan Police agency. A travel ban was also imposed on him to prevent him from leaving the country. His hair samples tested negative for drugs. The actor also requested a lie detector test and complain that it is unfair to be accused of drug use without any physical evidence.
