- Was Mark Twain in the habit of Smoking? Yes. He only smokes cigars.

- When he was small, everyone used to think that he is not going to live a long life because he was born he was a premature baby of 7 months and up to the age of 7, he used to be very ill and weak.
- After the death of his father in 1848, he worked full time for a newspaper in Hannibal as an apprentice printer and he later moved to his brother's owned local newspaper as a typesetting job.
- He got the job of steamboat pilot with having a good salary. After two years study of the Mississippi River between New Orleans and St. Louis he got the pilot license
- His brother died when there was an explosion in the Pennsylvania while he was going through Memphis and he said that his brother's death he has seen 1 month earlier.
- He also joined the volunteer Confederate unit that was also known as Marion Rangers but leaves it in 2 weeks.
- Mark Twin is not his real name. In 1863 when he wrote for the Virginia City newspaper, at that time a pen name Mark Twain was given to him.
- He was the first person who wrote the whole novel on the typewriter and the name of the novel was 'Huckleberry Finn'.
