Both of them were fined 15000 pounds and an additional 10000 pounds for prosecution cost. Ingram and his wife were ordered to pay 40000 pounds for Ingram and 25000 pounds for his wife as defense cost by the trial judge. With a total of legal fees 115000 pounds. However, the fine was reduced later on.
