Career of Ravi Shastri

He started his career with Ranji Trophy when he was just seventeen. His test debut match was against New Zealand 21 February 1981 and his first ODI Debut match was against England 25 November 1981. He was forced by BCCI to take earlier retirement due to his Knee Injury. He was appointed as head coach of the Indian team on July 13, 2017.
