Career of Anna Hazare
After working for twelve years in Indian army. He spends his gratuity and some donations from the villagers in the transformation of his village Ralegan Siddhi which was a very poor village at the time. He started school in the village, prohibited alcohol. He had taken many steps to improve the quality of life in that village and now this village had become a role model for others.
He launched the Bhrashtachar Virodhi Jan Andolan in 1991. He also campaigns against the use of food grains to make liquor.
In 2011, he began an indefinite hunger strike at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. He was joined by thousands of supporters including well known social activist like former IPS officer Kiran Bedi, Medha Patkar, Arvind Kejriwal. The movement began a revolution in Indian public.
On 3 August 2012 at 5 PM team and Anna decided to end the indefinite fast and the team decided to make a political party but Anna refused to enter into politics.

He had done odd jobs like selling flowers at the Dadar railway station in Mumbai.
