She is a Mexican-American actress, born on 12th December 1956, in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. Well known for her performance in Falcon Crest in which she portrayed the character of the meddling Melissa Agretti. She was appeared in this show from 1981 to 1990. She went to the University of Texas to complete her study in drama. She got married to Gary R. Benz on 24th April 1994. They have two children and living happily together.

She debuted her career in the film industry from 1983, her first movie was "Happy Endings" in which she shared her screen with John Schneider who is an excellent actor or a country music singer. After completing her graduation in 1977, she went to Los Angeles and started giving auditions.
