His first television role was in the drama “Ishq Ibadat.” His work in the television series like Hari Hari Churiyan, Mah-e-Tamaam, Dil Nawaz and Bharam was also well received. His character Murtasim Shahnawaz Khan from Tere Bin won several hearts. Wahaj's other acting credits are Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha, Dil Na Umeed To Nahi and film Teri Meri Kahaniyaan.
