He was the cast member of The Phil Silvers Show. He performed in the U.S. Marshal, The Lawless Years, Mr. Novak, Dundee and the Culhane, The Big Valley, The Fugitive, Gunsmoke, Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C. In Star Trek, he was Kras in the episode Friday's child. He was Captain Adam Greer in The Mod Squad and was Lieutenant Johnny Russo in The Detectives which was one of his best performance.

He appeared in the movie Mister Roberts in 1955 as Wiley. He had an uncredited role in The Wings of Eagles as Arizona Pincus in 1957. In the same year, he performed the role of US Marine, Store Customer in Until They Sail. His three films were released in 1958 China Doll as Cpl. Carlo Menotti, Imitation General as Pvt. Orville Hutchmeyer, Onionhead as Charlie Berger. In the following year, he was seen A Private's Affair as Sgt. Pickerell. He was Nicolay in the film In Enemy Country in 1968. In 1976, he appeared in The Last Tycoon as Popolos. He was Ted in Gypsy Angels in 1980.
