- He has created Home Grown his own label in 2003 but due to some legal purposes, the name was changed Sothern Ground.
- He was the counselor of many camps like at Camp Mikell which is situated in Toccoa, Georgia, and also at Camp Glisson which is a summer camp at Dahlonega, Georgia.
- From the age of 19, when he start touring he only has drums and a little pet dog with him. Including him, he has eight members in his band.
- At the age of 7, he started learning classical guitar.
- His one video album named 'Sweet Annie' is totally based on real footage of his one of band member's marriage Coy Bowles.
