He was a very good singer and I think it's really sad that he died so young. He had so much going for him and would have been an even bigger star in country music had he lived. I'm just glad that his memory and music still live on to this day. Rest in peace Keith.

He was one of the most extraordinary song stylists in the history of country music. No one could do a ballad more soulfully than him. I think this was because in addition to God-given golden pipes, he was a very sensitive soul, probably not really tough enough for commercial music. I appreciate his talent more with every passing year.
