Huey Lewis started his career by signing a Band named "Clover" in 1971, he used to play harmonica in the band, sometimes he also used to sing lead vocals on a few tunes. Clover disbanded in 1978.
With the name "Bluesy Huey Lewis," he played harmonica on some of the famous album songs including "Live and Dangerous". He recorded the song "Exodisco" after which he landed the contract with Phonogram records.
Further, he changed the name of the band as "Huey Lewis and The News" which has six members excluding two past members. The most successful album by the band was released in 1983 tilted "Sports".

The case was settled out of the court which includes both the party will have right to keep the settlement secret. Further, Parker alleged Huey in 2001 for violating the agreement between both the parties and speaking about it in an episode of Behind the Music.
