After completing her reign as Miss Universe she entered the acting profession. Her first appearance was in film Dastak. She had a starring role in Tamil action film Ratchagan. Her performance as a supporting actress in the film Biwi No 1 was highly appreciated. She appeared only for a song in many Bollywood films like Fiza, Nayak. She starred opposite Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya.
