She is well known for her appearance in Precious (2009), Pariah (2011), See Girl Run (2012), Babygirl (2013), A Walk Among the Tombstones (2014), and Marjorie Prime (2017). She won Academy Award for all these movies. She received more appreciation for her appearance in Orange is the New Black Season 2, which was released in 2014 and she played the character of young Miss Rosa. She has one elder sister named Melanie Andujar and one younger brother named Hector Andujar Jr. She is so fond of acting since her childhood. She started acting at the age of twelve.
