She was married to Bertie Alexander Meyer on 6 June 1932 after taking divorce from him she was married to Abner J. Stillwell on 8 April 1936 but separated from him and marry E. Ogden Ketting and remained with him up to death.

She started her career with the film Love on the Spot with a lead role. Work in Mr. Quincey of Monte Carlo in 1933 and also a premier role in One More Spring in 1935.
