American actress who is known for her cute dimples Lona Andre was born on March 2, 1915, in Nashville, Tennessee, the U.S. Besides acting she was also a golf player and a businesswoman. She marries Edward Norris in June 1935 but that marriage was canceled after four days. After that, she was married to Richard E. Patton in October 1942 and later married to James Bolling after taking divorce from him. However, in 1947 she also took divorce from her third husband on May 23, 1947. She died at the age of 77 on September 18, 1992, in Los Angeles, California, U.S.
Career of Lona Andre
She participated in a contest called "Paramount Panther Woman Contest" and there gets an opportunity to work with Paramount Pictures. After that, she had worked in many small films with a lead role and in a supportive role in big films. Her six films were released in 1933 which were 'The Mysterious Rider', 'The Woman Accused', 'International House', 'College Humor', 'Too Much Harmony','Take a Chance'.
In 1934, she had done a small role in School For Girls along with Toby Wing, Lois Wilson, Sidney Fox, and Dorothy Lee and also in films Come on Marines, By Your Leave, Lost in the Stratosphere. In 1935, her performance was seen in One Run Elmer, Border Brigands, Happiness C.O.D., The Timid Young Man. Her films were Custer's Last Stand, Three on a Limb, Lucky Terror, Our Relations, Death in the Air in 1936.
In 1937, her films were High Hat and Slaves in Bondage. Sunset Murder Case in 1938 and Ghost Valley Raiders in 1940. Two films in 1943, Taxi, Mister and Confessions of a Vice Baron. Her final film role was in the film Two Knights from Brooklyn in 1949.
