71-year-old American actress, director, and producer Diane Keaton began her career on stage and made her screen debut in 1970.
She was born in Los Angeles, California, the U.S. on 5 January 1946. Her father was a real estate broker and civil engineer and her mother was a homemaker, she had also won 'Mrs. Los Angeles' title for a homemaker. She is a graduate, from Santa Ana High School, in California. She participates in singing and acting clubs in school. After schooling, she joined Santa Ana College and Orange Coast College for acting classes. She had also done singing act in a nightclub for a short period of time. She also studied acting in Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City. She is not married but she adopted two children named Dexter and Duke.

Kay Adams-Corleone was her first role in the film 'The Godfather' in 1972. In 1970, She was nominated for the Tony Award for Play it again.
