  • Adriana originally lived in Yugoslavia, however, she along with her mother had to escape the country. The chaos started when her father decided to explore the true causes of the death of his brother, Silvio Altaras. His brother was killed by the communist regime of Yugoslavia in early 1945. Because of her father's investigation, in 1964, the League of Communists of Croatia instigated a court case against her father. As a result of the court case, she along with her mother fled Zagreb in 1964. They proceeded to Italy in a car driven by her Italian uncle.
  • She established the Western Stadthirschen theater in Berlin. At the theatre, she worked as an actress, director, and writer.
