Tiger Shroff is an Indian actor and martial artist. He gave his appearance on tv with his first debut movie named 'Heropanti' for which he gets nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. He got the fifth-degree black belt in Taekwondo.

Tiger Shroff was born on 2 March 1990 with the name Jai Hemant Shroff but for his debuted movies, he changes his name to Tiger Shroff. His parents are Jackie Shroff an actor and Ayesha Shroff who is a producer. He is of Gujarati and Uyghur ancestry from his father's side and of Bengali and Belgian descent from his mother side. In January 2010 Subhash Ghai wanted him to launch in the remake of his father movie 'Hero' but he rejected the offer. He was first signed by the Sajid Nadiadwala in movie 'Heropanti' as a lead role in June 2012 which was a successful movie. He later appeared in the movie 'Baghi' movie Shraddha Kapoor which was also got a success on box office. His movie 'A flying Jatt' by Remo D'Souza was not so good as his previous movie. Recently in 2017, he appeared in movie Munna Michael with Nidhhi Agerwal.

For movie 'Heropanti' he won many awards like in 2014 he got Stardust Awards for Superstar of Tomorrow - Male, BIG Star Entertainment Awards for Most Entertaining Actor - Male and Star Guild Awards for Best Male Debut. In 2014 he got IIFA Awards for Star Debut of the Year ? Male and Life Ok Screen Awards for Most Promising Newcomer - Male.
