Career of Robert Armstrong
Before World War I, he used to write plays which landed him a role. He joined the US Army at the time of War and after the war, he went to London and worked on stage. In 1927, he appeared in the silent drama The Main Event. He performed in about one hundred and twenty-seven films. He is famous for his role in King Kong as director Carl Denham and reprised his role in the film Son of Kong. He co-starred with Fay Wray in the film The Most Dangerous Game which was filmed at night on the same jungle sets as King Kong. He also co-starred with Helen Vinson, Richard Cromwell and Jack La Rue in the film Enemy Agent. He had a lead role in Mighty Joe Young as "Max O'Hara". He also appeared in television series like State Trooper as Sheriff Andy Anderson.
