He joined acting industry in the year 2005 and appeared in the Telugu film "Leader." His first Hindi film was "Dum Maaro Dum." He got fame with his appearance in the films like Rudramadevi and Baahubali. He appeared as Bandev in the films Kaadan, Aranya and Haati Mere Saathi. He portrayed Hiranyakashyapa in the Telugu film "Hiranya Kashyapa."
