In the remake of The Manchurian Candidate in 2004 he was a senator and was Mayor Denny in Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups.

His work can be seen in Half & Half, The Bold and the Beautiful, Boston Legal, Grey's Anatomy, NCIS, Cold Case, Strong Medicine, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Touched by an Angel, Chicago Hope, Any Day Now, Karen Sisco, Dawson's Creek, and Friends. And in a miniseries The Temptations he was the founder of Motown Records Berry Gordy in 1998.

He had given his voice to the character Lando Calrissian in Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike, and Disney Infinity 3.0.And to Conroy and Boko in Rocket Power and Pup Star resp.
