Jayasurya started in the glam world in 1990. He made his film debut in 1995 with Three Men Army. The 2010 film Cocktail set up a new phase in his career as his part in the film was critically acclaimed. He is noted for his work in Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam (2015). He is also acknowledged for working in Iyobinte Pusthakam (2014) and Njan Marykutty (2018).
