- Was Thurgood Marshall in the habit of Smoking? Yes.
- When he was in Lincoln University he was not serious in his studies, in fact, he was suspended twice for making pranks on the students. The first he was not interested in the politics but later he joins the debating team of university and became the star of the team.
- He later became the member of the 'Alpha Phi Alpha' which was first African-American, intercollegiate Greek-lettered fraternity and founders are known as Seven Jewels and currently have more than 29,000 members.
In his first year at the university, he was opposed to the integration of African-American professors and later in the second year at the local theater he was sit in protest against the segregation.
- After completing his graduation he practices private law in Baltimore and then in 1934 with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) he began his 25-year affiliation. He became one of the members of (NAACP) in 1936.
- He got the Presidential medal of honor posthumously by the President Bill Clinton as the nation's highest civilian.
- Out of 19 cases, he won 14 cases and became the first black person who was selected for the U.S. solicitor general in 1965.
