About Tombs of Buganda Kings at Kasubi
The Kasubi Tombs is a burial ground of four kings of Buganda. It is located in Kampala, Uganda. On the one hand, it is an outstanding example of traditional architecture while on the other hand, it is a spiritual and political site for the Ganda people. It earned the status of World Heritage Site in the year 2001. The site covers an area of 26 hectares. The site remains open for public visits from Monday to Saturday between 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
