About Sagrada Família
Sagrada Família is popular as a big unfinished basilica situated in the Eixample district of Barcelona, Spain. Its construction started in March 1882 under the guidance of architect Francisco de Paula del Villar. It was estimated that it would be complete until 2026 but maybe a chance of delay due to COVID -19 pandemic. It was designated as the World Heritage Site by UNESCO in the year 2005. It was consecrated as a minor basilica by Pope Benedict XVI in November 2010.
