About Medieval Monuments in Kosovo
Medieval Monuments in Kosovo is a group of four Serbian Orthodox Christian churches and monasteries in Kosovo. The monuments are made with Palaiologian Renaissance style which is a combination of both Orthodox Byzantine and the western Romanesque ecclesiastical architecture. These sites were constructed by the Nemanjić dynasty. It was designated as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004 and extended to four sites after two years. The area covered by the site is 2.88 hectares. It has become a World Heritage Site in Danger in 2006.

Also, it is home to the mausoleum of archbishops and patriarchs of Serbia. The site is in danger due to political instability in the area.
