The Maritime Mercantile City is a historical site located in Liverpool, England. It covers an area of 136 hectares including six different locations each having a separate value in the history of Liverpool. It was earlier called "the slave triangle". It was one of the most massive international trade post of Britain for two hundred years starting from the 18th century. It became a World Heritage site in January 2003.
