St.George is an old English town situated on an island. The town was founded by the Virginia company in 1612. Earlier it was known as New London. It was the capital of Bermuda until 1815. It spread in an area of 746 hectares. There were a variety of batteries, fortifications, and magazines were built here from its foundation until 1939. They were last used until 1953. It was home to the Parliament of Bermuda until 1815. You can take a flight to Hamilton, Bermuda which is just two kilometers away from the location.
