About Flow Country
The Flow Country is an area in Sutherland and Caithness County in North Scotland. It is a peatland and wetland area covering approximately 4000 kilometers square. The area is filled with deep peat which is made up of plants' remains and made up of carbon. It stores a large amount of carbon for thousands of years and is responsible for global warming. The area became such between 1979 and 1987 due to the planting of conifer forests and the cutting of drains.

- It is the biggest blanket bog all over Europe.
- There are number of different species of the word including dunlin, greenshank, and more. Also, there are birds of prey like buzzard and hen harrier in the area.
