About Kunchikal Falls
Formed by the cascading water of Varahi River, Kunchikal Falls is a waterfall in Karnataka, India. Rushing down the rocky boulders, the fall is located in the Nidagodu village near Masthikatte in Shimoga. With the height of 1493 feet, it remains on the position of 116th on the World Height Ranking of waterfalls. Tucked amidst the thick lusty forest, it is also a popular trekking spot in the region. The fall is easily accessible by road.
