Bamber is a town located in Bavaria, Germany. The town is situated on the river Regnitz close to the place where the river Regnitz meets the river Main. The town was founded in the ninth century. The town covers an area of 54.62-kilometer square having a population of over 77000 people as per the 2019 census. The old town area of Bamberg is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993.
