About Gridley Tunnel
Gridley Tunnel as the name suggests is a tunnel situated on the U.S. Yokosuka Naval Base in the Yokohama region of Japan. It runs through a hill called Gridley Lane to Nimitz Blvd. It is so small that it can fit a single car at a time. The site is popular as one of the most haunted locations in Japan, and also because of several accidents that take place in this tunnel.

Bus
If you are a bus traveler then take a bus to nearby bus stands like Kanagawa Shika Daigaku Fuzoku Byoin, Mikasa Koen, Mikasa Koen Iriguchi, Otakimachi or Honcho 1 Chrome whichever is preferable. A small walk from these bus stops will take you to the tunnel.

- Many passersby claim that they have seen a ghost of a man dressed as a samurai. It is said that a samurai was murdered in this tunnel, and from that day his unrest spirit haunts the tunnel.
- Some travelers said that they view a Samurai in the rearview mirror, which vanishes in the next moment. His sudden appearance diverts the mind of the driver and became a cause of the accident.
- Some people also claims that when they were walking through the tunnel. A samurai touched their shoulder due to which a chill go through the body. Most of the ghost sighting incident occurred during rainy night in witching hours between 1:00 to 3:00 am. So if you believe in ghost, it is suggested to take another route, especially during rainy nights.
