About The Lake District
The Lake District is a region in England. The area is full of lakes, forests, and mountains making it a perfect holiday destination. It is spread in an area of over 200k hectares. It is about 3000 feet above sea level. The national park situated in the area was founded in 1951 which is spread in an area of 2362 kilometer square. It earned the title of World Heritage Site in 2017.
