About Seaworld Ancol
Sea World Jakarta is a popular tourist attraction and a marine aquarium located in Jakarta of Indonesia. It was opened for the public in the year 1980. It has over 8 exhibits including the main tank and a shark tank among others. It could be visited any day of the week between 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. An adult has to pay Rupiah 25000 to enter the premises. If you are going there in your personal car then you have to Rupiah 25000 per car alongside ticket price.
How To Reach Seaworld Ancol
You can go there in your personal vehicles like a car or motorcycle. The parking for vehicles is available at the west gate. If you are in a group on a bus then also you needn't worry, it has sufficient place to park a bus. Transjakarta buses from east Jakarta like Pusat Grosir, Kampung Rambutan leave you in front of the door of the aquarium. The authorities also run the Wara-Wiri bus to take the visitors from the surrounding areas.

  • There were plans to make a reptile exhibit and a penguin exhibit under the name HerpetoZone and Humboldt penguin but both plans were canned due to lack of money and space. Also, a plan to put Ocean sunfish and Mahi-mahi was dropped due to lack of sufficient space. The consideration of making a Raja Ampat Islands display marines like Indonesian speckled carpetshark was also dropped due to unknown reasons.
