About North Head Quarantine Station
North Head Quarantine Station is a tourist attraction situated in New South Wales, Australia. It covers an area of 277 hectares. It is owned by the Office of Environment and Heritage. It was made in 1830s in order to quarantine Europeans to prevent the spread of disease. It operated until 1984 and people with infectious disease were quarantine here until they are safe to release. It was designated as Australian National Heritage place in May 2006. The ghost tour costs 55 dollars for adults and 32 dollars for a child from the age group 8-14 and should be accompanied by adults.
