About Kourion
Kourion is an ancient city located on the coast of Cyprus. Greek settlers from Argos started residing here in the 12th century BCE. The acropolis of Kourion is situated just 1.3 Kilometers away from Episkopi and 13 kilometers from Limassol. There was proof of the existence of human dwelling here at the time of the Neolithic period. The city is situated on the top of a limestone promontory which is about 100 meters high.
