About Genting Highlands
Genting Highlands is a hill station as well as a tourist attraction situated at the top of Mount Ulu Kali in Malaysia. It is located at 1,800 meters above sea level. The place was founded by a late Chinese businessman, Lim Goh Tong in the year 1965. The place comes under two states Pahang and Selangor, however, its major portion is located in Pahang. The temperature is also favorable here and the availability of seven hotels alongside theme parks, high-class restaurants, gambling, and casinos grabbing the attention of tourists.
Some Lesser Known Facts About Genting Highlands
- Though Genting Highland is a beautiful place and is ideal for a picnic Amber Court Hotel and Ria Apartment are reportedly haunted in the location.
- One day a couple came for a trip to the place and found no place except Amber Court hotel for a stay. They experienced some paranormal occurrence like being watched. Also, the woman heard whispering and talking from the living room despite the fact there were only two people staying in the room.
- One more story is of a "man" who is often seen walking backward into an elevator. Two girls who shared the elevator with him said that he had no face.
- Another haunting experience was of a little girl who stayed in Ria Apartment with her family. Being a child, she and her sister started playing in the lift up and down. The odd thing was that the lift always stopped on the 17th floor despite the fact there was no one to get in or out of the lift. She also went on the floor but the floor was abandoned having limited light. She also saw that there were amulets struck on each door of the floor.
- The ghost stories of these places are so popular that a movie is made based on these stories named "Haunted Hotel." So it is advised to visit the place as it is a beautiful piece of natural beauty but don't dare to stay in this hotel as you don't know who is waiting for you to welcome in these haunted places.
