About Heidelberg Thingstatte
Nazi Amphitheatre is an open-air theatre located in Heidelberg, Germany. It was built in the first part of Nazi era in June 1935. It was designed by Hermann Alker. It is an egg-shaped amphitheatre and has a sitting capacity of 8000 people or 15000 standees. It was used for unofficial Walpurgis Night celebrations until 2018. The estimated cost of making the theatre is about 600k RM. It has now got the status of protected monument and celebrations at the location are completely banned. It is easy to reach there on the weekends by taking bus no 33 but in weekdays the bus drops about 1.7 miles away from the place and the travelers have to walk to reach the desired destination.
