About Radha Damodar Temple
Radha Damodar Temple is one of ancient temple situated in Vrindavan. The temple also has footprints of Krishna and it is said that it was given by Lord Krishan himself to Sanatana Goswami. The deity remained in Jaipur for about 69 years, at the time Aurangazeb attacked Vrindavan. It is also believed that four parikramas of Radha Damodar Temple is equal to one parikrama of Govardhana Hill. There is no entry fee to enter the premises. The morning opening timings of the temple is 4:30 am to 1:00 pm. In the evening, the temple opens at 4:30 pm and closes at 9:00 pm.

The temple is located in Seva Kunj and is easy to reach. You can take any of the available means of transport:
Bus
Take a bus for Vrindavan or Mathura city from your hometown. After reaching there, you can opt any of local means of the transport to reach the temple comfortably.

- Radha Damodar Temple is one of the seven Goswami temples of Vrindavan.
- The temple was founded in 1542, but the deities shifted to Jaipur in 1670, when Aurangzeb invaded Vrindavan. The deities Radha Damodar came back to Vrindavan in 1739.
- The deities of this temple are still served by descendants of Krishna Dasa to whom the founder of the temple Jiva Goswami has given the authorities.
- According to the local belief, four parikramas of this temple is equal to one parikrama of Govardhana Hill. So you can get the same blessings in less time and without any hardwork.
- You can also see Giriraj Shila with footprints of Lord Krishna inside the temple. It is believed that Krishna himself gave this to Sanatana Goswami.
- The temple also houses samadhis of a number of Gaudiya saints, like Rupa Goswami and Jiva Goswami.
- ISKCON founder Srila Prabhpada also stayed in Radha Damodar Temple for a period of six years prior to shifting to the United States of America to preach about Krishna.
