About Parthenon
Parthenon is an ancient temple located in Greece. The construction of the temple started in 447 BC and was completed in 438 BC. It was dedicated to the goddess Athena and was made when Athenian Empire was in power. It is situated at just one minute walking distance from the Acropolis of Athens. It was made using Pentelic Marble by Iktinos, Callicrates. It has a height of about 13.72 meters and its floor area is 238 feet by 111 feet.
