The Ayikudi Balasubramanya Swami Temple as the name suggests is a Hindu temple located in Ayikudi in Tamil Nadu, India. As the temple is located close to Kutralam Falls, alongwith Kasi Vishwanathar Temple Tenkasi and Thiruchendur, it is also visited by tourists and piligrims who come here to visit these places. It opens every morning at 6 with the morning prayer and closes after the evening prayers at 8 pm. There are no charges to visit the temple but if you want to perform some special puja you have to pay accordingly.

  • Earlier there was a Samadhi of a Brahmin named Mugura Bhakthar sanyasi where his community used to conduct pujas and ceremonies. The main deity idol was found in the Mallam river to a devotee named Mallan. The idol was installed at the Samadhi and pujas were continued.
