About Highland Towers
Highland Towers was a residential complex located in Selangor, Malaysia. It was three 13-story buildings occupied by the residents until the day of tragically collapsing on 11 December 1993. The collapse caused the death of 48 people present in the building at the time of tragedy while only two people were rescued safely. The cause of the collapse was said to be the landslide due to continuous rainfall for two weeks. Also the construction of the Bukit Antarabangsa Development Project just behind the tower and cutting of trees in a large number as a result of which the soil in the area became susceptible to land erosion. Though only block number one was collapsed other two buildings block number two and three were abundant by the residents and they filed a lawsuit against the developers of the building.

- After this tragic collapse, there were also other landsides at the place and nearby hills including the Taman Hillview Bungalow Collapse, the Kampung Pasir landslide, and the Bukit Antarabangsa landslide which proves the fact that how unsafe the area is?
- The place has become a matter of fascination of the believers in supernatural powers due to a number of deaths at the place. Some also visit to get a good fortune or to win a lottery.
- The resident says that there is no ghost in the ruins despite the fact many people especially teenagers go and explore the building if there is any paranormal activity in the building. But all this is just to get fame on social media and if there is a real ghost inside the building, it would not leave anyone of them.

- A YouTuber also investigated in the ruins for three days and two nights but no ghost or scary phenomena were found in the shoot. Though there is no ghost inside the building is still considered unsafe and it is advised not to visit the place to avoid any tragedy in the future.
